We are seeking a skilled Bioinformatician to analyze, interpret, and manage complex biological datasets in support of cutting-edge research and product development. The ideal candidate will combine strong computational skills with a solid understanding of molecular biology, genomics, and data analysis.
You will work closely with wet-lab scientists, clinicians, and data teams to translate biological data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze high-throughput biological data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics)
Design and implement bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and analysis
Perform sequence analysis, variant calling, functional annotation, and pathway analysis
Manage, curate, and ensure quality control of biological datasets
Develop reproducible workflows and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research objectives
Interpret results and present findings through reports and visualizations
Stay updated with emerging bioinformatics tools and methodologies
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., BLAST, GATK, Bowtie, BWA, SAMtools)
Knowledge of NGS data analysis (DNA-seq, RNA-seq, variant analysis)
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
Understanding of molecular biology and genomics concepts
